This FGASA (Field Guide Association of South Africa) accredited course – field Guide Level 1 (NQF2) – is for anyone intending on becoming a Field Guide or following a slightly different career within the South African wildlife and ecotourism world. You will constantly be exposed to the African bush and be submerged into nature for every minute of this 55 day programme.
The Wildlife Conservation Training Programme is focused on giving participants a chance to get the experience necessary to be able to work on a wildlife reserve. With these skills you can make an active difference in the future of endangered African species. Students are exposed to the daily running of reserve projects and will assist in conservation initiatives conducted at the game reserve.
This wildlife-tracking programme offers you the ultimate wilderness immersion. Through the ancient art of tracking – possibly the world’s oldest art and science – you will connect with the iconic places and creatures of Africa on foot. The 7 and 14-day courses take place in remote wilderness areas of Botswana and South Africa.
